Your responsibilities
- Perform and review journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile accounts and verify the accuracy of journal entries to maintain a complete and accurate general ledger.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and asset capitalization.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze financial information and prepare accounting reports and statements.
- Prepare financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, debtor and creditor reports, repayment schedules, and regulatory filings.
- Provide technical accounting advice, including hedge accounting and POC accounting, to support revenue and expense forecasting.
- Collaborate with functional and operational managers to help them understand financial reports and manage financial responsibilities.
Expectations from you
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience performing Record-to-Report activities.
- Knowledge of journal entries, accruals, provisions, and general ledger accounting.
- Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Ability to prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Knowledge of fixed assets accounting, depreciation, and capitalization.
- Experience handling intercompany reconciliations.
- Ability to analyze financial information and prepare accounting reports and statements.
- Understanding of financial reporting requirements and accounting compliance.
- Ability to work independently while managing routine accounting activities.
