Job Responsibilities:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in assembly process development and manufacturing engineering
- Proven experience in launching new assembly lines in a high-volume automotive or similar manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of assembly methods, error-proofing, tooling, ergonomics, and process flow design
- Familiarity with APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, and other automotive quality standards
- Comfortable working with CAD and process planning tools (e.g., layouts, simulations, line balancing)
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel for equipment buy-offs, supplier meetings, and on-site launch support
