Summary:

The “Analyst, Network & Telecom” will be based in Chennai, reporting to Manager

What a typical day looks like-

• Automate day-to-day GNOC rotation Operational tasks and activites.
• Using Gitlab to manage, track projects and service development, including the creation of CI/CD pipelines to support our NetDevops culture transformation and automation of our telemetry services.
• Development and implementation of data visualization tools, dashboards, and services.
• Developing and managing docker containers hosting telemetry, monitoring and visualization services and applications.
• Collaboration with teams (internal & external) to achieve deliverable and value business goals for Network services.
• Contributing to the delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion and being part of all stages that require Observability and Monitoring components.
• Providing documentation, presentations, and excellent written technical skills.
• Wrote scripts for health check scans and firewall status checks of devices using Python.
• Developed bots using Python/ ansible/ or any other script to automate workflows for internal teams
• Created an internal web application using Django framework to streamline workflows for the Compliance and NOC teams.
• Utilized data analysis and visualization techniques using SQL and Python to identify trends and insights
• Participated in daily code reviews and provided constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Created reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders

Experience we are looking to add to our team-

• Strong capability and experience with automation technologies -- Ansible, Python scripting, ELKStack tool configuration, Linux skills (Redhat, Ubuntu)
• Experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting, PHP, Perl programming, JavaScript programming experience is a plus.
• Experience in database design and working with MySQL, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Exposure in DevOps concepts such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment techniques, approaches, and tools.
• Excellent understanding of observability tools and telemetry data concepts including performance monitoring, real time monitoring, Network monitoring, Capacity monitoring, database monitoring and application monitoring.
• Experience with Containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise in infrastructure programmability, software-defined networking, Open Source platforms, and projects, for both Cisco and industry-standard Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
• Experience in SolarWinds Monitoring (SaaS), Prometheus, Grafana with alert management skills
• Good working understanding of networking technologies (CCNA/CCNP)
• Good understanding of Netflow, SNMP and Syslog technologies
• Experience with and using API’s (Rest , XML, JSON, Solarwinds SWIS)
• Functional Orion SolarWinds skillset (SWQL , SQL , dashboard and Report development)
• Knowledge in Cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Fortinet Certified Professional.
• CCNA/CCNP Certified Professional.
• Python/Ansible Certified Professional.
