Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative, and detailed student for our Application Engineering Intern position located in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. As an Application Engineering Intern you will help our customers apply SEL relays to protect the electrical power grid. If you love solving problems, if you love teaching, if you love writing, and if you want to learn about faults and power system protection, then this position is for you!
As an Application Engineering Intern in S&CS, a typical day might include the following:
Providing support for communication/automation/protection test beds.
Performing testing on existing and new technology.
Supporting Sales and Customer Service and product development activities related to communication/automation/protection.
Supporting application engineers to develop best practice application guides for SEL technology that provide secure and compliant solutions.
Learning about power systems, power system faults, and SEL relays.
Providing Technical support on SEL relays through phone/email.
Teaching classes and demonstrating how SEL relays work to customers
Participating in SEL marketing and sales activities, webinars, industry technical meetings, and conferences.

Are a fresh graduate holding a degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in power systems field.

Pay Range Data
Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role and on hourly basis.
