Application Services Technical Delivery Manager in Kyndryl, is a person who has good experience in application design, development, and modernization. Person will lead & mentor the application development or modernization projects & teams
Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.
As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will play the following roles and take on the below responsibilities.

• As Application Services Technical  Manager -

• Engage with clients to for presentations on application services offering

• Performing quality review of project deliverables. Lead work sessions and client discussion.

• Guide teams on Application Development, Modernization strategy, transitional process necessary for application to be onboarded on cloud-based architecture that includes APIs, microservices and container

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• Overall 15+ years of relevant IT experience, with minimum 10 years of experience in area of Application Design, Development & Modernization

• Should have end to end working experience in application development across cloud native environments.

• Good understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.) Familiarity with tools such as New Relic, Splunk

• Must have executed large app modernization and cloud native architecting programs

• Stack Level – Java or .NET C++/C# - C++, C# or Java, Java JSP, JEE API, 12 Factor Application Design, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data

• Package Manager – Maven / Gradle

• Front End - React JavaScript, Html, CSS

• Database - Design and deployment of DB framework and Logical Data Modals

• Tech Stack - Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google/IBM)

• Middleware - Experience in deployment of applications to various middleware components

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. A Master's degree is a plus.
