The Ariba S2R Analyst manages the S2R process for indirect procurement, ensuring compliance, optimizing systems, and supporting stakeholders with operational excellence.
We are looking for an experienced Ariba Sourcing to Requisition (S2R) Support Analyst to join our Indirect Purchasing team. This position sits at the heart of our procurement operations. You will be the bridge between our sourcing strategies and our execution system, ensuring that our indirect spend—ranging from professional services to capital equipment—is managed efficiently, compliantly, and transparently within SAP Ariba.
Responsibilities- Indirect S2R Lifecycle Management: Lead the functional support for the end-to-end S2R process, ensuring that Indirect Sourcing events (RFI/RFP/Auctions) translate accurately into executable contracts and requisitions.
- Operational Excellence: Support the Indirect Purchasing team in configuring complex service requisitions, limit orders, and statement of work (SOW) based purchasing.
- Catalog & Content Strategy: Manage and optimize internal catalogs for indirect categories to drive "Guided Buying" adoption and reduce maverick spend.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure that negotiated terms in Ariba Contracts are correctly reflected in the Requisitioning module to ensure price compliance for indirect goods and services.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Act as the primary consultant for internal business owners (IT, HR, Facilities, etc.) to help them navigate the S2R process and improve their buying experience.
- Process Optimization: Analyze indirect spend patterns within Ariba to identify opportunities for process automation or template improvements.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve high-level functional bottlenecks in the Sourcing-to-PO flow, including workflow approvals and supplier integration issues.
- Education: B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) is mandatory.
- Experience: 6–8 years of experience in Procurement technology, with at least 5 years dedicated to SAP Ariba.
- S2R Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, and Ariba Buying & Invoicing (P2P/S2R).
- Indirect Purchasing Knowledge: Proven understanding of the nuances of indirect procurement, including service-based procurement, milestone payments, and category-specific workflows.
- Systems Thinking: Ability to understand how data flows from a Sourcing event to a Contract, and finally into a Purchase Requisition.
- Communication: Strong ability to explain technical Ariba configurations to non-technical Indirect Buyers and stakeholders.
