What this job involves:
As an Assistant Manager – Commute at JLL, you'll serve as a forerunner of quality transport services, reporting to the City Commute Manager while taking full responsibility for all commute network operations at your designated site. This critical role requires you to provide uninterrupted transport services to clients by ensuring fleet availability 24/7 while maintaining backup plans for any contingencies that may arise. You'll act as the single point of contact for all transport network-related issues while working closely with business teams and clients to understand their specific needs and develop efficient transport procedures that achieve SLAs and customer obsession standards. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on client satisfaction by leading site teams, managing vendor relationships, and implementing process improvements that drive operational excellence. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Ensure uninterrupted quality commute services by maintaining 24/7 fleet availability while acting as single point of contact for all site commute requirements and timely service delivery
- Manage site teams and monitor activities according to client needs while developing efficient transport procedures and processes to maintain optimal commute operations
- Organize regular vendor meetings and connect sessions to ensure smooth commute support while conducting team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one sessions for role alignment
- Generate and submit timely commute reports to management within established timelines while maintaining connect sessions with central teams to uphold process protocols
- Handle incidents meticulously with proper escalation and reporting to leadership within process timelines while ensuring complete adherence to company audit procedures and SLA standards
- Monitor site KPIs to achieve targets while motivating teams through responsibility delegation aligned with their scope of work and annual appraisal goals
- Conduct regular training and briefing sessions for chauffeurs to ensure safe commute services while managing backup coverage for team member absences and monitoring monthly attendance against rosters
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in transport operations management or fleet management with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong team management skills with ability to delegate responsibilities, conduct performance reviews, and support career development initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor management, client interaction, and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with SLA management, KPI monitoring, and operational reporting within service delivery environments
- Knowledge of transport safety regulations, incident management procedures, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in scheduling, roster management, and operational planning for 24/7 service delivery
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience handling business continuity planning and emergency response scenarios
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in facilities management, workplace services, or corporate transportation programs
- Experience with vendor relationship management and contract oversight in service delivery environments
- Knowledge of audit procedures, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes
- Understanding of training program development and implementation for operational teams
- Experience with performance management systems and annual appraisal processes
- Background in process improvement initiatives and operational optimization projects
- Familiarity with JLL or similar professional services company operations and standards
