About you - Skills & Experience
- Experience working with image capture or editing software and/or with photographic or digital scanning equipment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with an emphasis on Excel, Access and File Manager.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
- Capacity to learn new skills quickly and use new technology effectively.
- Excellent technical skills, with ability to deftly enter and manipulate data and learn software and database programs.
- Ability to manage and meet multiple and frequent deadlines.
It would be great if you have
- Experience using image processing tools and image viewers
- Understanding of delivery methods for electronic content and various media storage methods and devices.
- Understanding of data formats for electronic content
What would you be doing in the role
- Perform digital image inspection and modifications such as cropping, rotating, de-speckling, and de-skewing.
- Maintain expectations for capturing and outputting images while meeting and adhering to quality and productivity expectations.
- Obtain images in a digital format from a variety of sources including but not limited to: Web sites, storage devices, internal or external FTP sites, network storage or internal image file management applications.
- Visually review digital images using several image viewing tools, conform to product/project and quality specifications, identify any images that are out of specification.
- Use image editing tools to transform individual images and files and assure conformation to product/project and quality specifications.
- Visually inspect image files and configure them into individual documents based on product/project requirements.
- Create and/or update bibliographic or metadata in files names, spreadsheets, databases, and bibliographic/editorial systems.
