Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior SAP SD /LE Consultant with 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Sales and Distribution and logistics including significant exposure to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the end-to-end order-to-cash process, strong configuration skills, and a proven track record in full-cycle SAP implementations and rollouts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage SD streams in S/4HANA implementation and transformation projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
- Configure and customize SD modules including Sales Orders, Pricing, Billing, Shipping, Credit Management, and ATP.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, PP, TM) for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Design and implement SD-related enhancements, interfaces (IDocs), and reports in S/4HANA.
- Provide expert-level support during system testing, user training, cutover, and hypercare phases.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and deliver optimized, scalable SAP solutions.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide subject matter expertise.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Implementation/Roll-out/AMO - Preferred Exposure in large-scale system development Exposure in working with Global Template documents
- Exposure in designing application interfaces - SAP SD /OTC configuration experience in implementation and support projects
- Well versed with the business process of the projects he has worked on.
- Expertise with the integration aspects of SAP-SD module with other functional modules FI, MM, PS, PM, WM and PP.
- Having good skills in analyzing, documenting & designing, technical and functional specs of the processes.
- Technical Expertise in SAP SD – 1. Strong in OTC business process 2. Contract Management ( Billing plans / pricing /Output determination, Revenue Recog) 3. Make to Order 4. Make to Stock 5. 3rd party process 6. Service Order process / P.O Process. 7. Delivery & Billing. 8. Pricing 9. Return Process 10. Rebate 11. Intercompany Sales 12. Availability Check and TOR 13. Shipping and packing 14. Basic functions like Material Determination, Material Listing and Exclusion and Cross selling. 15. Consignment Process 16. Credit Management SAP LE
- Configured Logistics: Shipping Controlling documents, Collective Delivery and designed shipping relevant delivery function in the order and delivery,
- bill of lading, Picking, Packing and Good issue tasks.
- Handles and configured reverse logistics (handling customer returns)including credit and debit notes.
- Very good knowledge of standard processes of logistic modules LO, LE, MM, etc.
- Hands on experience in SAP Logistics modules, hands-on configuration
- User experience with the following SAP modules: SD and MM if possible
- Nice to have exposure on integration with GTS
- S4/HANA experience is must.
- Flexible and mobile
- Good attitude to engage and work with the Business organization
- Fluent in English
- To be Logistics expert with a strong knowledge on logistics execution LE ( shipping & Transportation)&
- LO ( Handling Units)
To be responsible in definition of blueprint for functional development specifications
- To be responsible for the implementation, configuration and support of SAP Logistics Modules
- To conduct feasibility studies / solution reviews in order to secure business process optimization and integration with other SAP modules.
- To work directly with business owners to understand their needs, detail their requirements and provide functional solutions.
- To identify solution issues and provide issue resolution Experience in Fiori Apps, IDoc/EDI handling, and interface design.
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and agile project delivery.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP SD Certification (especially on S/4HANA)
- Experience in Global Template Design and Rollouts
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Pharma etc
- Working knowledge of SAP SD/Logistics
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science/other, Business Administration, or related field.
