Technical writers are a key link between product, engineering, support, implementation, marketing, and customers. As an associate technical writer you are responsible for the creation and maintenance of all documentation related to Lightcast’s products. You clearly and accurately communicate how Lightcast products work and the problems they solve. You work on multiple products simultaneously.
Major Responsibilities:
- Drive product enablement, increase NPS, and lower time to value by pairing products with well organized and context-relevant documentation.
- Contribute to the development of Lightcast’s product and API documentation; drive the overall structure and content of Lightcast documentation ensuring accuracy, clarity, and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with product teams and other technical writers to understand the key business problems being solved; articulate Lightcast solutions using clear and concise product documentation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of your documentation to track its success; make improvements as necessary.

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences

- Excellent English-language communication skills
Education and Experience:
- 1 year experience as a technical writer or related role
- Basic knowledge of of technical writing tools and content management systems is preferred
