- Test Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Framework Development: Create and update testing frameworks from scratch using industry-standard tools.
- Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software bugs; perform thorough regression testing after fixes are applied.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate test suites into the continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines to ensure automated checks on every build.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure testability.
Essential Qualifications
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one common language like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Testing Tools: Experience with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze test metrics.
- Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
