The Role

Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.
As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation.

  • Designated point of contact and have access to the entire team (SRE, Architect, SME, CloudOps).

  • Kyndryl Cloud Platform Squad leader and client’s single point of contact for Cloud Platform Operation and Support services from Kyndryl.

  • Owns the processes, compliance, reporting, and governance.

  • Works closely with Kyndryl Service Delivery roles in the account who are responsible for other activities such as major incident management, change management, and service reporting.

  • Manages all escalations, client contact requirements and ensures service coverage by the squad.

  • Ensures consistent service delivery meets the committed client quality outcomes, metrics, and expectations for the services (relevant SLAs, etc.).

  • Suggest proactive solutions, best practices, and learnings from similar markets.

  • Runs Agile ceremonies and iterates delivery for the squads, constantly seeking to improve squad outcomes.

  • Closely collaborates with SRE for DevSecOps implementation, Architect, and SME (for maintaining and managing the landing zone and customer workload).

  • Conducts periodic reviews with teams.

  • Provides weekly and monthly status reports to higher management.

  • Participates in business meetings with various stakeholders.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • 5+ years relevant experience in installation, configuration and technical activities related to AWS.

  • 3+ years relevant experience as Technical Account Manager in Cloud technologies

  • Assist customers in designing, building, and optimizing scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS architectures.

  • Trusted advisor for the customer, indulging in technical conversations, ideations, and design thinking.

  • Customer obsession – Knowing the customer, their cloud strategy, and future vision.

  • Cloud evangelist – Strives for cloud adoption and growth within the customer organization.

  • Service consumption and its reporting, cost management and its reporting, dashboard and integrations, automation in reporting.

  • Ensure all technical documentation (SOP, KEDB, Architecture) for the respective accounts are up to date, accurate, and maintained.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • ITIL v3 Intermediate

  • AWS Foundation Level – Cloud Practitioner or above

  • Azure Foundation Level Certification (AZ 900) or above

  • GCP Cloud Digital Leader or above.
