Design, develop, and implement scalable Pega applications using Constellation and App Studio. Architect complex workflows, integrations (REST/SOAP/messaging), and decision logic. Lead performance tuning with Pega diagnostic tools, mentor developers, conduct code reviews, support testing (unit/SIT/UAT), and produce technical documentation.
Required Qualifications & Skills • Pega Certification: Must hold a valid Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification. • Pega Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega application development. Key Responsibilities • Application Development: Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable applications using Pega's Constellation architecture and UI components. • Workflow and Case Management: Architect and build complex workflows, case life cycles, and decisioning logic to meet business requirements. • Integration: Lead the design and implementation of integrations with external systems using a variety of protocols, including REST, SOAP, and messaging queues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues. • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce Pega best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions. • Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize application performance by using Pega's diagnostic tools (Tracer, PAL, Log Analyzer) and implementing performance best practices. • Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests and support system integration and user acceptance testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the application. • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions. Constellation Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience building applications using the Pega Constellation design system and its components (Views, App Studio development). • Integration Knowledge: Extensive experience with Pega integration capabilities, including creating and consuming REST and SOAP services, file listeners, and email listeners.
