Job Summary
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Tableau dashboards to support operational reporting needs.
- Support requirements-gathering sessions by documenting notes, capturing action items, and organizing meeting outputs.
- Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and surface preliminary insights under the direction of senior analysts.
- Help translate analytical findings into clear summaries and supporting materials for team review.
- Write and execute basic T-SQL queries to extract data from structured sources.
- Maintain and update Excel-based reports using standard formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
- Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations to support internal reporting and program updates.
- Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to understand data needs and ensure timely delivery of outputs.
- Support data quality checks to validate accuracy and consistency across reporting sources.
- Contribute to team documentation efforts, including process notes, data dictionaries, and workflow summaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 1–2 year of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role; internship experience is accepted.
- Foundational knowledge of Tableau or similar data visualization tools; demonstrated coursework or project exposure preferred.
- Basic proficiency in SQL/T-SQL for data querying and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic charting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under structured guidance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Exposure to Python, PowerShell, or other scripting tools is a plus but not required.
