Manage budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow, tax compliance, cost control, vendor payments, contract financial terms, audits, forecasting, and risk analysis for film and television productions. Collaborate with production teams to maintain accurate records, optimize spending, ensure regulatory compliance, and support profitability.
- Financial Planning and Budgeting: Collaborate with production teams to create and manage budgets
for various projects, including films and TV shows.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and cash flow statements on a
daily basis by coordinating with the production team.
- Tax Planning and Compliance: Stay updated on tax laws and regulations specific to the entertainment
industry. Develop strategies to optimize tax planning, minimize liabilities, and maximize incentives and
credits. Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- Cost Management and Control: Monitor production expenses, track costs, and implement cost-control
measures. Analyze spending patterns, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to
streamline operations and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Petty Cash
- Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, track receivables, and manage payments to vendors
and crew members.
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Review and analyze financial terms in contracts, such as talent
agreements, distribution deals, Vendor deals and licensing agreements. Negotiation with the vendors and
other required deeds in accordance with the production budget.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct internal audits to safeguard assets and maintain accurate financial
records. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
