The Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing and managing AWS infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system performance while implementing security best practices.

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Build, operate, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, primarily using Amazon EKS.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using logging and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications and optimize deployment strategies.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across environments (dev, staging, production).
- Implement security best practices including IAM, secrets management, and network controls.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python and shell scripting.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when required.
- Document architecture, processes, and operational runbooks.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, ELB, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration, preferably with Amazon EKS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
- Programming or scripting experience with Python (automation, tooling).
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers).
- Experience with Git-based version control systems.
- Understanding of DevOps best practices, including automation, monitoring, and reliability engineering.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.).
- Experience with Helm, Argo CD, or Flux CD.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).
- Experience with microservices and cloud-native architectures.
