This role is responsible for managing the entire business activities of a Cluster for Agri Lending. The role also entails managing operations of Agriculture Lending, Commodity Finance, Program Based/ Tie Up Loans for farmers and other products and offerings of the vertical.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will have the responsibility of the topline, ottomline and Fee income of the vertical of the assigned territory. The role will also have the responsiblity of cross selling of liability and third party products. Ensure the portfolio quality to minimize the NPA and credit losses. Overall coordination of branches under the Cluster, for ensuring the quality of the portfolio, support in recruitment, training, retention and mentoring talents.
- Manage the activities of Agri & FI vertical in the assigned territory and ensure they are aligned with Bank’s strategic goals and objectives
- Ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements relating to Agriculture lending and comply with the PSL guidelines
- Own the annual budget of the team and review adherence on a monthly basis to ensure the delivery of the team on the budgeted lines
- Oversee quality initiatives across operations team for optimization of processes in order to improve TAT
Experience: 8 to 10 years
Qualifications:
Graduation (Any Specialisation)
Post Graduation (MBA/Agriculture)
