About the role
Position: Commercial and Contracts Analyst
Location: Melbourne, VIC (open to other major cities)
Work Type: Full-time Permanent - Hybrid
AGL is seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Contracts Analyst to join our Construction team. This is your opportunity to contribute to Australia’s energy future by ensuring robust commercial outcomes and contract governance across our project portfolio.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead tender and contract analysis to ensure commercial success aligned with AGL’s major renewable project goals.
Develop and refine contracting models and strategies that support continuous improvement and project excellence.
Collaborate across legal, technical, and delivery teams to manage risks, resolve disputes, and protect AGL’s commercial position.
Oversee contract compliance and commercial systems, while reporting on KPIs and risk to senior leadership.
Promote a strong safety culture and contribute to the rollout of standard agreements and risk frameworks across high-value energy projects.
Apply your qualifications in Engineering, Commerce, Law, or Business to influence major energy and infrastructure initiatives.
Use your years of experience to shape contract strategy, negotiation, and administration across all project phases.
Present complex commercial analysis to senior stakeholders and help steer critical business outcomes.
Leverage your understanding of renewables and regulatory frameworks to support AGL’s transformation.
