About the Role
We are looking
for a proactive and well-organised Commercial professional to manage
international vendor communication, Procurement of parts/materials, import Activities
& co-ordination, and timely receipt and dispatch of materials to customers.
The ideal
candidate should have strong communication and follow-up skills, good knowledge
of import procedures, and the ability to coordinate effectively with
international suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents and internal
teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Correspond
with international vendors regarding quotations, purchase orders, order
confirmations, delivery schedules and commercial documents.
- Coordinate
procurement of parts and materials from overseas suppliers and ensure
timely order execution.
- Monitor
supplier order status, production readiness and expected shipment dates.
- Coordinate
import shipments, including shipping documents, customs clearance and
related formalities.
- Coordinate
with freight forwarders, customs agents / CHA, transporters and internal
teams for smooth movement of materials.
- Track
shipments from dispatch by the supplier until receipt at our place.
- Verify
and maintain import and commercial documentation, including Purchase
Orders, Invoices, Packing Lists, AWB/BL, Certificates and other
shipment-related documents.
- Coordinate
with internal teams for material receipt, QA inspection, documentation and
customer dispatch.
- Follow
up proactively with vendors, freight forwarders and service providers to
resolve delays, documentation issues and shipment-related problems.
- Provide
timely and accurate updates to management and internal teams regarding
purchase orders, material readiness, shipment status and expected delivery
dates.
- Ensure
all assigned activities are completed within the required timelines and
take ownership until closure.
Requirements
Requirements
5–6 years of experience in
Commercial, Imports, International Procurement, Purchase, Logistics.
- Good
understanding of import procedures, shipping and commercial documentation.
- Experience
in dealing with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Good
knowledge of import-related coordination and customs clearance processes.
- Strong
written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent
follow-up and coordination skills.
- Quick
response and ability to handle multiple activities and priorities
simultaneously.
- Good
working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Ability
to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong
sense of ownership, responsibility and commitment to timelines

Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should demonstrate initiative,

The role involves regular coordination with international
vendors, freight forwarders, customs agents, logistics service providers and
internal teams. Therefore, strong communication, effective follow-up and the
ability to proactively coordinate with stakeholders are essential for
successful execution of the role.
