What you will do
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
(Key Result Areas)
Configuration and Quotation operator is part of the sales operations team and covers a variety of responsibilities regarding the efficient processing of configuration and quotation requests such as:
- Handles low touch transactions (Simple, Medium and High Complexity) configurations and quotations based on requests coming from Front End teams/sales representatives and makes sure of the existence of clear instructions of the request to minimize rework
- Creates system / solution configurations based on the Service Request specifications.
- Ensure configuration validity by checking all technical aspects and verify system part components availability.
- Deliver a buildable and supportable configuration.
- Ensure approved prices are reflected in the official customer quotation.
- Anticipates and answers questions and issues and proposes long term solutions.
- Participate in meetings regarding changes / updates on tools, products and/or services and follow-up accordingly.
- Create complementary material such as guidelines, process changes / updates, validation rules updates, products or offerings changes.
- Provide best-in-class solution by offering the customer the most competitive solution respecting specified requirements.
- Provide technical and pricing information to the Front-End teams/Sales Reps.
- Work close with Front end to clear the technical aspects.
- Collaborate with other functions and teams, to increase speed and accuracy.
- Provide technical consultancy for internal and external customers time to time.
What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any equivalent degree
- Typically, 0-2 year’s experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic understanding of business and sales processing tools, systems and practices
- Good analytical, statistics and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
