About the role:

This senior-level Quality Assurance Lead role is accountable for driving comprehensive testing and quality engineering initiatives across enterprise across the GBS & Data Lake platforms. The position collaborates with technology and business leaders to define quality standards, streamline testing practices, and implement robust test strategies that ensure the timely delivery of reliable, high-quality data and software solutions. Success in this role requires deep expertise in QA methodologies, data validation, automation frameworks, ETL and data pipeline testing, and modern cloud-based ecosystems. The individual will act as both a mentor and trusted advisor to QA teams while remaining hands-on in daily testing activities, defect triage, and execution. Additionally, this role will spearhead quality transformation programs across legacy systems and next-generation enterprise platforms, ensuring consistency, scalability, and excellence in delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Own overall quality assurance delivery for the GBS platform.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and defect-free enterprise solutions.
• Drive QA standards, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and enhance automation frameworks and testing best practices.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and compliance across platforms.
• Provide QA leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to the testing team.
• Manage testing risks, quality metrics, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure alignment of QA deliverables with business and project objectives.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, ETL, and data validation testing activities.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test cases/scripts.
• Collaborate with Developers, Data Engineers, and Business teams during sprint execution.
• Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, and defect triage discussions.
• Validate data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and system integrations.
• Support release testing, production validation, and issue resolution activities.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Quality Test Analyst experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent required.
• Higher qualifications such as M.Tech/MCA/MS preferred.
• Experience in leading QA teams and enterprise testing initiatives preferred.

• Advanced knowledge of QA methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of software development processes and process improvement
• Understanding of industry best practice and trends
• Hands-on expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong SQL and ETL/Data Pipeline testing experience.
• Strong API testing experience
• Experience with Selenium, PyTest, TestNG, or equivalent automation tools.
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Good to have experience in testing technologies in use within the GBS programme such as Salesforce (Sales, Service and Data 360), AWS, .NET, APIs, ETL, Databricks testing and Data Lake validation.
• Understanding of Big Data technologies such as Spark/Hadoop is preferred.
