As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, applying modern methodologies to meet evolving business requirements while maintaining high performance and reliability across software systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align software development activities with organizational goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Experience in designing and implementing data integration workflows and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of data transformation, data quality, and data migration techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Competence in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
