Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires collaborating within agile teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Throughout the day, the engineer engages in coding, testing, and refining software modules while continuously improving system performance and reliability to support organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Maintain and update existing software components to improve functionality and address issues.
- Document software designs, processes, and code changes to ensure clarity and maintainability.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- Strong experience in writing efficient and optimized database queries and stored procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex database-related issues.
- Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling techniques.
- Experience working within agile development environments to deliver iterative software improvements.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and version control systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
