Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of custom applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the desired requirements. The position demands proactive problem-solving and continuous engagement with team members to drive the project forward efficiently and effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align project goals.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Extend.
- Strong experience in application design and development within cloud-based environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and API management.
- Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Extend.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
