Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the needs of the organization and translating them into functional software solutions. The engineer collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless user experiences. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical development with problem-solving and continuous improvement to deliver high-quality software that supports operational efficiency and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in CommerceTools Commerce Platform.
- Strong experience in designing and developing scalable software applications using CommerceTools Commerce Platform.
- Ability to configure and customize commerce solutions to meet diverse business requirements.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and API management within commerce platforms.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to commerce applications.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies in the context of commerce platform projects.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in CommerceTools Commerce Platform.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
