Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect of daily activities, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Technical Solutioning & Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into robust SAP SD technical designs. Act as the primary advisor to the client by proposing standard-first technical solutions, standard/custom enhancements, and integration architectures.
- Proven Greenfield Expertise: Minimum of three completed SAP SD greenfield implementation projects, leading the track from initial blueprinting through to post-go-live support.
- Strong Technical & Functional Depth: Expert-level knowledge of SAP SD configuration (pricing, billing, OTC, shipping).
- Client-Facing Presence: Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a proven ability to present technical solutions directly to client stakeholders and manage expectations effectively.
- Overall candidate should have a management consultant (technical consultant) background with greenfield implementation exp in SAP SD

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to custom software development.
- Experience in setting and enforcing coding standards to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Skilled in performance optimization and scalability considerations within software projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on collaborative team environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
