Why we're hiring:

The role of the Vulnerability Remediation Engineer is to resolve outstanding vulnerabilities across a wide variety of technologies as directed by the Cyber Security Testing team.

What you'll be doing:

• Remediate vulnerabilities using a variety of tools across a diverse infrastructure.
• Support in the life cycle of vulnerability management, providing standardised advice on ways to improve control mechanisms and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage vulnerabilities and undertake remediation activities.
• Communicate common mitigation strategies such as patching and basic configuration change (system hardening).
• Understand how local protective security measures can be applied to reduce vulnerability exposure.

What you'll need:

Skills and Knowledge:

• Hands on experience of :
• Windows Server and Linux Server OS’s
• Patching using both enterprise tooling and manually
• Vulnerability management, tools, techniques and methodologies;
• Legal and regulatory considerations

Experience:

• Experience of working in a global organisation.
• Providing high quality deliverables.
• Collaborative working with suppliers, partners and end-users.

Person:

• • Experience in moving a dynamic environment to a business-as-usual one.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships.
  • A confident, credible and influential communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to maintain sight of the mission.
