WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Perform end-to-end analysis on healthcare data in tabular format or natural language data, ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations
  • Independently identify problems, QA data, architect solutions and conduct analysis to support data-driven decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists and data engineers, in an Agile and technology-driven environment
  • Support senior data analyst and data scientists with data processing
  • Generate internal data reports, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational goals while adhering to HIPAA and data protection regulations
  • Present in front of stakeholders including senior leadership, ensuring transparency and actionable recommendations

ABOUT YOU:

  • At least 3 years of work experience in analytics required, ideally in the healthcare or health plan sector, with a strong understanding of data privacy and governance frameworks such as HIPAA
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
  • Strong knowledge of Excel calculations and data visualizations
  • Strong SQL skills, experience of querying large datasets
  • Experience of data visualization software (e.g., Power BI & Looker)
  • Experience of generating automatic Power BI reports
  • Strong statistical ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Experience of data wrangling and data visualization
  • Desire and ability to build trust with business stakeholders, manage the relationship and socialize insights effectively
  • Be able to communicate analytical insights with a variety of business stakeholders across different technical levels (including senior leaders)
  • Self-motivated and be able to work independently
  • Be able to work towards deadline

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience in Python
  • Experience of cloud (AWS preferred)
  • Experience in Quality or Risk Adjustment
