Job Summary

Responsible for working to maintain uniform access and complete transparency for data assets to enable informed business decisions that drive profitable growth. Collect, analyze, and validate data aligned to business requirements prior to it being stored for final use by the organization and/or its clients. Provide technical requirements to productionalize data assets for use by the organization and/or its clients. Ensure ongoing data accuracy by implementing quality assurance checks along with established daily monitoring, triage and user communication. Provide transparency to upstream source owners on data availability and accuracy alerts to help stabilize data for downstream use. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the use of business unit data and supporting reporting, analytics and the user community questions.
  • Contributes to data discovery, data profiling, requirements, testing and documentation.
  • Works with business units to document the requirements for enterprise base and semantic layer.
  • Works with management team in estimating level of effort and timelines.Helps to maintain detailed documentation through data lifecycle processing to ensure fully transparent communication and meeting deadline expectations.
  • Supports the development the business rules and logic in order to harmonize the data.
  • Supports the creation of test plans and execution of User Acceptance Testing for stated data dependent projects.
  • Supports standardization efforts for referential data used for data analysis and project output.
  • Communicates regular status updates to leadership team.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
