Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise data products and domain data assets.
- Establish engineering standards, design patterns, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.
- Guide technology decisions across cloud, data platform, integration, and analytical ecosystems.
- Review solution designs for scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and security.
- Partner with Data Product Leads and business stakeholders to define priorities and execution plans.
- Translate business outcomes into technical implementation roadmaps.
- Lead delivery of strategic data products supporting enterprise data initiatives.
- Ensure products meet functional, performance, quality, and governance requirements.
- Mentor and coach engineers across technical and professional development areas.
- Support hiring, onboarding, skill development, and succession planning.
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, design reviews, and quality assurance practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Drive platform optimization, cost management, observability, automation, and reliability initiatives.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and platform teams on long-term technology roadmaps.
- Establish monitoring frameworks for data reliability and service-level expectations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, privacy, and security requirements.
- Lead development of trusted data products supporting AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Drive adoption of feature stores, semantic models, and analytical datasets.
- Manage technical debt and modernization strategies across data product portfolios.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering.
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience leading engineering teams or strategic initiatives.
- Expert-level experience with:
- SQL
- Python and/or Scala
- Cloud Data Platforms
- Snowflake
- Databricks
- Data Warehousing
- Data Modeling
- Distributed Processing Frameworks
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud data solutions.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Agile, DevOps, DataOps, and engineering governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical strategy and align engineering execution with business outcomes.
