Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a strong IT Infrastructure Technical Project Manager (TPM) with extensive experience in Datacentre Operations, Infrastructure Transformation, and Technology Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical infrastructure expertise and project/program management capabilities, with hands-on exposure to managing enterprise data centers, infrastructure upgrades, migrations, cloud transformation, and operational governance.
The TPM will be responsible for leading large-scale infrastructure initiatives involving servers, storage, virtualization, networks, data centers, cloud platforms, backup & recovery, disaster recovery, and IT operations, while driving stakeholder alignment, vendor coordination, risk management, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Program Delivery
- Lead end-to-end Infrastructure and Datacentre Transformation Programs.
- Manage data center migration, consolidation, modernization, and infrastructure refresh initiatives.
- Drive infrastructure delivery across servers, storage, networks, virtualization, security, and cloud platforms.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical governance and oversight across infrastructure projects.
- Review infrastructure designs, implementation plans, and deployment strategies.
- Ensure adherence to architecture, security, and compliance standards.

Experience Requirements
- 10–18 Years of overall IT Infrastructure experience.
- Minimum 5+ years as Technical Project Manager / Infrastructure Project Manager.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure and data center projects.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure operations and transformation programs.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and vendors.
- Banking, Financial Services, or highly regulated industry experience preferred.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drive infrastructure project execution and governance.
- Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and budgets.
- Coordinate with technical leads, architects, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Lead weekly governance meetings and executive status reviews.
- Oversee data center operations and infrastructure delivery activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and operational readiness activities.
- Maintain project documentation, runbooks, and transition plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- PMP / PRINCE2 Certification preferred.
- ITIL Certification preferred.
- Azure/AWS/VMware certifications are an added advantage.
