Goal of Function:

To develop, maintain, and optimize the Project Information Management System (PIMS) ensuring its efficiency and reliability, supporting the digital strategy for core areas of CE and CoE CE.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an in-depth technical understanding of the Process-/IT-Solution PIMS (Project Information Management System).
  • Architect, develop (configure, program, test, document), and roll out new features and changes to the existing system.
  • Perform root cause analysis in case of technical issues and initiate problem resolution.
  • Coordinate necessary operation activities to achieve high performance and availability of the implemented system. Collaborate with different stakeholders (business, finance, external vendors) and lead working students if required.
  • Contribute to global projects to implement the digital strategy for core areas of R&D and Coe PLT.
  • Serve as the expert point of contact for any data migration & data integration plans from existing technologies.
  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the PIMS, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in technology relevant to PIMS and propose improvements.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members and working students.
  • Translate business requirements into efficient and effective digital process flows within the PIMS.
  • Participate in special projects or tasks as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Several years of work experience in Product Lifecycle Management & Project Management Systems.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German.
  • Strong to extensive experience in Power Platforms (Power APP, Power Automate, Power BI), Azure SQL.
  • Strong knowledge in Data modeling, Application Design, UX/UI Design.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Advanced proficiency in Power Platforms, Azure SQL, and related technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Information Management Systems.
  • Extensive experience in designing user interfaces with a focus on user experience (UX/UI).
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into efficient and effective digital process flows.
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours to meet project deadlines.
