Job Summary
Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the integration of new applications. Oversees the documentation of all development activity. Trains non-technical personnel. Assists with tracking performance metrics. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one modern web framework (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Django).
Solid understanding of the analytical lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, modelling, model storage and visualization.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Azure.
Hands-on experience with containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with analytical lifecyle tools (e.g. mlflow, Kubeflow)
Familiarity with data processing and data orchestration frameworks (e.g., Pandas, Apache Beam, Apache Airflow).
Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational or analytical databases (e.g., BigQuery, PostgreSQL).
Exposure to machine learning workflows or MLOps is a plus.
