As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend services using Java, React Native and Spring Boot

• Build and maintain microservices architecture for scalable applications

• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems

• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and architects

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability

• Support deployment and release activities

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.
As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Required Technical and Professional Experience

• 3 - 5 Years as Java React Native Developer Experience

• Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above)

• Hands-on experience with React Native, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA

• Experience in microservices architecture and REST API development

• Knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Familiarity with version control systems (Gitlab)

• Experience with build tools (Maven / Gradle)

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

• Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

• Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT)

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure)

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Banking / BFSi preferred

• Java Certification (Developer / Professional Developer) - Preferred
