The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing and deploying software solutions, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with security standards. They collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable applications and support continuous improvement in technology practices.
Job Summary
Responsible for building high-quality, innovative, and fully functional software solutions in alignment with coding standards and technical design. The role involves designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software applications, while also supporting deployment and ongoing operations. The individual will actively participate in testing processes, including test review, analysis, and certification, ensuring robust and scalable solutions across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including users, technical teams, and management, to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver within timelines.
- Analyze system workflows, data usage, and processes to identify gaps and propose effective solutions.
- Follow and contribute to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including flowcharts, system designs, and process documentation.
- Evaluate feasibility of solutions by analyzing requirements, problem definitions, and proposed approaches.
- Design system specifications, standards, and architectures to support robust and scalable applications.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices for efficient deployments.
- Recommend and adopt modern tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance development efficiency and quality.
- Conduct system analysis and recommend improvements in processes, policies, and applications.
- Define application interfaces, integration points, and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance standards throughout development and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership to foster built-in quality, team agility, and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to innovation and continuous learning initiatives.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including coding standards, code reviews, and SDLC practices.
- Proficiency in Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance principles within application and infrastructure design.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing system architectures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient solutions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and collaboration.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes with ownership and accountability.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications in cloud, DevOps, or software engineering are an advantage.
- May require compliance with export controls or regulatory licensing, as applicable.
- 5–8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with:
- GitHub (primary) and GitHub Actions (CI/CD pipelines and workflows)
- JFrog (artifact management)
- Cloud platforms – AWS and/or Azure
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience with tools such as Flagsmith, GitLab, Jenkins
- Exposure to Anaconda and SonarQube
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
