Striim is looking for a DevOps Engineer who is seeking an opportunity to make an impact for our Pivot to SaaS initiative. We are leveraging the latest technologies (Microservices/Kubernetes/Golang/GCP/Azure/AWS) and bringing more value to our customers via Realtime Data Streaming.
Responsibilities :As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the reliability, SLA, and customer support of our infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to a secure, reliable, and highly available infrastructure in a rapidly changing environment.
- Building, deploying, and monitoring software to ensure that the system’s capacity and performance are adherent to SLAs.
- Collaborating with the team on architecture and technical discussions.
- Providing on-call support and assisting in fixing production issues.
- Working in a fast-paced, agile environment to support continuous delivery.
- 1-3 years of experience in Programming and System Operations.
- Good programming skills in any language. Polyglot preferred.
- Proficient in leveraging CI and CD tools to automate testing and deployment.
- Hands-on knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Cloud networking knowledge: should understand VPC, NATs, and routers.
- Good written communication skills are a must.
- Experience in working in an agile and fast-paced environment.
- Experience with high performance distributed systems.
- A background in database systems, specifically internals and transaction processing experience with real time event processing.
- Contributions to open source is a plus.
- Contributions to technical blogs / whitepapers will be an added advantage.
