Depending on his/her scope, the incumbent will be in charge of one the domain :
 

Professional Experience:

  • Candidates must have around 1-3 years of significant professional experience in FEA analysis using Ansys workbench.
  • Good theoretical knowledge on core Mechanical subjects like SOM, Dynamics and Fatigue.
  • Good experience in nonlinear simulations, Vibration simulations (Modal, Harmonic, PSD, Transient) and Optimization.
  • Good in understanding of Automotive Systems
  • Good problem solving and communication skills
  • Good in written and Verbal communication.

Support operations:

  • Perform the FEA simulations.
  • Solving the simulation convergence issues.
  • Post processing and Results interpretation.
  • Validate mechanical design and propose solutions to improve design modifications.
  • Validation of simulation results by comparing with test results.
  • Supporting methodology development and benchmarking simulation tools applications.
  • Time planning, Tracking and updating the status of the customer.
  • Document and share best practices.
  • Successfully handle multiple priorities.

  • Technical Development: Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge within the Discipline, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
  • Technical Coaching: Provide technical guidance and support to Discipline Junior Engineers, fostering their onboarding and skill development.
  • Design Standard Application: Apply existing design standards effectively in their work, ensuring alignment with Valeo's guidelines and best practices.

Efficiency:

  • Digitalization Roadmap Adoption: Actively adopt and utilize digital tools and processes outlined in the Discipline's Digitalization Roadmap to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Continuous Improvement Contribution: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for optimization within their scope of work and suggesting improvements to existing processes.

  • Innovative Thinking: Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and contribute innovative ideas to enhance existing solutions or develop new approaches.
