Job Summary

Responsible for developing and deploying machine learning algorithms. Evaluates accuracy and functionality of machine learning algorithms. Translates application requirements into machine learning problem statements. Analyzes and evaluates solutions both internally generated as well as third party supplied. Develops novel ways to use machine learning to solve problems and discover new products. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Overview:

Our team aims to expand and enhance the monitoring and understanding of our streaming quality and customers’ experience by leveraging data, analytics solutions, and industry-standard practices. We're seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team and help drive our AI initiatives forward.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models that solve complex business problems, from data ingestion to model deployment
• Containerize ML applications and deploy them using Kubernetes
• Develop and maintain data workflows using Airflow
• Work with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) to build scalable ML infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, production-ready machine learning systems
• Optimize model performance and infrastructure costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify ML opportunities and implement solutions
• Monitor model performance and implement CI/CD for ML systems
• Analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and use statistical models to make predictions
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of machine learning models and make improvements where necessary
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI, LLMs, Machine Learning and Data Science
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical

Required skills and experience:

• Kubernetes: Strong experience with pod management, deployments, scaling, and Helm charts
• Airflow: Proficiency creating DAGs, implementing PythonOperators, scheduling jobs, and managing task dependencies
• Cloud Platforms:
  • GCP: BigQuery, Cloud Storage
  • AWS: S3, EC2
  • Azure: Blob Storage
• Python: Advanced knowledge of core Python, Pandas, NumPy, automation scripts, and API interactions
• Machine Learning: Experience with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, data preprocessing techniques, and model deployment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in ML engineering or similar roles
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
