R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services, Office Flow and Partnership Ecosystem. Our common goal at KONE is to keep the end user’s safe and people flow uninterrupted. KONE moves 2 billion people every day and that means our services can really make cities better places to live

Why this role?

The BIM Engineer role is required to provide advanced technical leadership, oversee complex BIM project delivery, and ensure the effective implementation of BIM standards, coordination processes, and digital engineering strategies across projects.

What will you be doing?

  • BIM configuration model creation for Elevator and Escalator products.
  • Closely work with R&D global BIM team and Front line /supply line for new developments and Products/Releases.
  • Manage BIM data, parameters, and project information.
  • Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and compliance with BIM execution plans.
  • To ensure the functionality of KONE product configurations and testing these product configurations using BIM models and Elevator level models to make sure the model outcome.
  • Flexible to work with tools like  REVIT,CREO,Autocad ,VariPDM,KTOC,Engcalc.KONE Studio
  • Close collobration and technical alignment with FL/SL teams to make sure BIM Quality aspects.                                           

Required Skills:

  • Strong Knowledge in Autodesk Revit
  • Good knowledge in Creo and AutoCAD
  • Basic knowledge in Dynamo
  • Strong knowledge in MS Office Tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Revit API Automation
  • ISO 19650, LOD 100 -500 Level of understanding

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE Mech/Civil)
  • 3+ years of Relevant experience
  • Good Debugging and Analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to procedure and guidelines.
