Job Title: Engineering Manager, Android
Poshmark is seeking a talented and creative Engineering Manager to lead our Android team. Responsibilities

Architect and maintain our Android mobile applications.

Partner closely with design, product, and other engineering teams to create a beautiful and intuitive app flow while influencing key aspects of the development process, such as API design, architecture, and product features.

Own important pieces of the product with high visibility both internally and externally.

Lead the Android engineering team to ensure high-quality execution.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the Android development process.
Desired Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in Android application development.

2+ years of experience in managing an engineering team, with a focus on mobile applications.

Strong experience building applications that perform well in memory and network-constrained environments.

Proven track record of delivering applications with high active user engagement.

Solid foundation in computer science, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Experience with Android-specific technologies and patterns (e.g., MVVM, Jetpack).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience owning and delivering complex projects on mobile platforms.

Strong mentoring skills and the ability to lead by example.

Experience working with teams across different time zones.

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
6-Month Accomplishments

Fully integrate into the team and develop a deep understanding of the existing infrastructure, features, and development processes.

Establish yourself as a technical leader in the Android team.

Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and QA.

Lead Android engineers in successfully completing medium-complexity projects.

Proactively identify and address opportunities for technical improvements and collaborate with Product Managers to implement them.
