034126 ERP Data Analyst (Open)Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and dependable ERP Data Analyst to join our Global Data Team in Chennai. This role is critical to enabling enterprise data transformation, including data quality, data governance, analytics, M&A integration, and AI initiatives. While Infor ERP LN functional experience is preferred, we are open to candidates with strong experience in other ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar, with the ability to quickly adapt.
This role requires a strong sense of ownership, drive, and reliability. You will operate at the intersection of business processes, enterprise applications, and data platforms - ensuring data is accurate, governed, and ready to support analytics and AI use cases globally. Also, this role requires the ability to work during hours that partially or fully overlap with the US Eastern Time Zone to ensure effective collaboration, support continuity, and timely issue resolution.
Major Responsibilities:
Ownership & Delivery
- Take end-to-end ownership of ERP data deliverables across projects and domains
- Demonstrate strong accountability, follow-through, and execution discipline
- Proactively identify issues and drive them to resolution across teams
- Operate independently in a global, cross-functional environment
M&A and ERP Integration
- Support integration of acquired (M&A) locations into the Infor ERP LN platform
- Analyze and map legacy system data to target ERP master data structures
- Partner with ERP and business teams to ensure smooth data transition and business continuity
Legacy Data & Analytics Enablement
- Enable integration of data from legacy systems into the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
- Support reporting and analytics for sites prior to ERP standardization
- Ensure data is usable, consistent, and aligned with enterprise definitions
Data Quality & Governance (End-to-End)
- Drive data quality across EDW and analytics platforms, Operational systems (ERP, CRM, TMS, etc.)
- Define and enforce data standards, business rules, and controls
- Partner with business to identify root causes and remediate data issues at source
Business Data Ownership
- Work closely with business stakeholders to establish and strengthen data ownership and accountability
- Support definition of data domains, ownership models, and governance practices
- Act as a bridge between business and data/IT teams to ensure alignment
Data & AI Initiatives
- Support enterprise AI and advanced analytics initiatives by ensuring high-quality, well-structured data
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to enable data pipelines and transformations and ensure data from ERP and other data sources is fit for purpose for analytics and AI use cases
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field
- 5–10 years of ERP experience:
- Infor ERP LN preferred
- SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP experience also considered
- Strong functional expertise in:
- Finance (GL, AP, AR, Costing), OR
- Manufacturing, Sales, and Supply Chain
- Solid understanding of ERP data structures and business workflows
- Experience supporting data, reporting, or analytics initiatives
- Experience supporting global stakeholders or working in an offshore delivery environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Takes full responsibility for outcomes end-to-end
- Proactively pushes initiatives forward, especially in ambiguous environments
- Delivers consistently with high quality and timeliness
- Focuses on root cause and sustainable solutions
- Able to work with business stakeholders to drive data ownership and accountability
- Work effectively with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
