Lead Workday functional implementations for HCM and Financials: gather requirements, configure modules, perform gap analysis, manage data migration and UAT, deliver training, provide post-implementation support, document processes, and advise clients on Workday releases and best practices.
Functional • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into system requirements and solutions in Workday HCM. • Configure and maintain Workday HCM module(s) including Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, and Recruiting as per the client’s business processes. • Conduct gap analysis and make recommendations for improvements to existing HR processes using Workday best practices. • Assist with data migration, including data mapping, validation, and transformation from legacy systems to Workday. • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate testing efforts with clients and stakeholders. • Develop and deliver training materials and conduct workshops to educate end users on Workday functionality. • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and resolve any system-related issues. • Stay up to date with Workday release updates and new features, advising clients on how to leverage these enhancements. • Contribute to project documentation, including functional specifications, process maps, and training guides. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure project success. • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, identify gaps, and provide solutions tailored to their financial processes and Workday functionality. • Configure Workday Financials modules (including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Procurement, and Financial Reporting) to meet client specifications. • Conduct testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide support during the implementation phase to ensure quality and accuracy. • Develop training materials and lead training sessions for end-users to enhance user adoption of Workday Financials.
