About the role
AGL is seeking a Finance Analyst to partner with our Integrated Energy function to perform all financial and management accounting requirements associated with our Gas Generation businesses. The role will work closely with the business teams, providing financial analysis and advice on existing operations and future developments.
Key Accountabilities:
Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Provide monthly performance analysis and clear commentary on key drivers, maintaining up-to-date forecasts with the business.
Maintain financial systems (S4HANA, BPC) to support accurate reporting of Gas Generation assets.
Work with Group Finance to ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met on time and in compliance
What You’ll Bring
Experience as a Management Accountant in a commercial environment.
Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (CA/CPA preferred).
Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, accountable, and team-oriented approach.
