Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner to join our team. This role will serve as a strategic partner to drive financial performance, support decision-making, and provide insights into financial trends and operational efficiencies.

HBK has a work from anywhere policy and this role can be done remotely, however with a strong preference for candidates based close to our office in Porto, Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering: Finance business Partner to the Business Unit Vice President for Global sales and the Sales Leadership team.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Collaborate with commercials teams (sales, sales operations, marketing and global customer) to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives. Enhance end to end cost transparency across the business.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track business performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

  • Cost Management: Identify and analyze cost-saving opportunities within the supported functions, ensuring that resources are deployed efficiently to maximize profitability.

  • Business Case Development: Support the evaluation of new initiatives, products, and operational changes by developing business cases, including financial modelling and return on investment analysis.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management, relying on the existing BI tools, highlighting trends, variances, and actionable insights.

  • Compliance: Work together with the Corporate Finance team to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies, contributing to corporate governance and integrity in financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification valued.

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in financial analysis, business partnering, or a similar role, preferably in a commercial and operational finance environment.

  • Experience in working in a highly transformational environment and strong adaptiveness to change. Thrives in context of change, which is to be expected from internal projects, integration of new businesses and the innovative nature of the industry

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and present actionable, data-driven, insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office suite (notably Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Experience navigating large amounts of data and BI (Business Intelligence)

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a context of fast-paced change.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English Personal skills
