Department
In our Mining service group Upgrades & Retrofits, we will bring sustainable technologies and services to existing equipment installations to extent operating life, improve performance and/or efficiency. Our goal is getting true value of our customer assets.
Role
As the proposal specialist, you will be responsible for the proposal preparation of the Separation products in global Upgrade & Rebuilds business.
Your responsibilities
Preparation of detailed technical Proposal documents for both Upgrades/ Retrofits
Application knowledge for various minerals and ability to read drawings.
Equipment sizing for various minerals application.
Preparation of standard templates and bill of material of products on need basis
Tender document review & listing comments/ deviations
Knowledge of costing / estimation will be added advantage.
Travel to client's offices/ mine sites may be required for meetings with clients (as & when required)
Plan & coordinate for technical inputs with Sales team to meet the proposal schedules (both global & domestic assignments)
Closely work with Product Line Management teams, Engineering, Purchase and Estimation teams to complete proposals
What you bring
Product knowledge of Flotation & Thickening as above. Familiarity with principles of flotation (induced air and forced air) in copper, lead-zinc and iron ore and gold industry.
Ability to interpret the requirements & test reports, provide solution, size the equipment.
Should have basic knowledge of proposal flow process for both domestic & global environment including equipment sizing, bill of material, proposal documentation, etc.
Knowledge of International Codes & Standards
Good communication skills to co-ordinate with internal and global teams
Ability to co-ordinate and collaborate with Global & Domestic teams.
Ability to work remotely when required.
Business drivers with a practical approach will be important.
Willingness to complete tasks on time without compromising on processes.
Ability to read the engineering drawings including Bill of materials/ parts lists.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s Engineering degree specializing in mechanical from a reputed university.
Experience
4 to 8 years of experience in handling liquid-solid separation equipment in Minerals industries.
