Oversee HR operations, manage trust accounts, handle disciplinary actions, supervise recruitment and promotions, and approve financial transactions for the HR department.
1. Management Trustee of trust accounts – Gratuity, PF & Pension – Conducting meeting within timeframe, approval/ recommendation for exit, trust account maintenance, fund management etc.
2. Disciplinary Authority for officers (upto Grade IV) – Order for show-cause/ enquiry, conduct personal hearing and award of punishment
3. Granting of digital certificate to officers
4. Designated as compliance officer of HR dept, Chennai.
5. General Operations
- Approval for reimbursements such as TA claims, Rent etc.;
- Approval of Confirmation of employees in service;
- Sanction of HRA based on the capital cost of own accommodation/ rent receipts
- Approval of expenses for banks vehicles including purchase/ sales of it,
- Approval/ recommendation of expenses such as payment to recruitment agencies
- Approval of daily and other periodical expenses of the department.
- Approval of Leave Fare Concession - travel & encashment. etc…
6. Recruitment/ Issue of offers/ onboard of employees under contractual engagement
7. Overall supervision of general ledger entries in Maarvel and cleansing of pending items
8. Grade promotion of officers and promotion of clerks and peons under IBA including automatic promotion on acquiring higher qualification
9. Transfer of Officers & Award Staff – Approval/ release/ recommendation of Transfer list
