We are looking for a forward-thinking HR Generalist who will provide support to Kaleris’ largest employee site (India) and assist functional HRBPs in our business. This role will focus on business partnership, employee relations, OKR/objective setting, performance management, succession planning, labor/budget planning, and policy administration. Reporting to the Corporate/Special Projects HRBP, this position ensures that corporate-level attention is given to HR issues arising in India. The responsibilities listed below highlight the primary duties for this role but are not all-encompassing
Responsibilities
- Act as regional HR representative to our largest employee site, ensuring alignment with business objectives and addressing site-specific challenges.
- Contribute to cross-regional HR initiatives and support global business needs by partnering with HRBPs to address business and employee relations issues.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, focusing on enhancing employee relations, driving objective setting (OKRs), and implementing performance management practices that align with organizational goals.
- Assist in succession planning, labor/budget planning, and policy administration.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and company policies.
- Escalate significant HR issues to the Corporate/Special Projects HRBP for corporate-level involvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a global organization is a plus.
