As an ICB - Associate Data & Reporting within our International Consumer Business Banking team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Credit and Fraud Risk initiatives. You will develop insightful data visualizations, conduct data analysis, and contribute to data modeling efforts. This role provides an opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders, work closely with cross-functional teams, and promote data-promoten decision-making. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of data modeling concepts, proficiency in SQL, and experience in Looker/Data Studio dashboard development. Job responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Looker/Data Studio dashboards and reports to support Credit and Fraud Risk functions within International Consumer Business Banking.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective data visualizations.
- Utilize SQL and other relevant tools to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources to derive actionable insights.
- Create and maintain data models to ensure accurate representation of business data within Looker/Data Studio.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in risk management processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Risk Management, and Business Operations to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal users for navigating Looker/Data Studio dashboards, interpreting data, and troubleshooting issues.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in data visualization and analytics techniques.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role, with a focus on Looker/Data Studio dashboard development and SQL.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience in designing and implementing data models.
- Demonstrated expertise in Looker/Data Studio or similar BI tools for building interactive dashboards and reports.
- Experience working in the financial services industry, particularly within Credit and Fraud Risk domains.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
