What you'll do:

This position is for the Digital Ecommerce Services team of Sam’s Club . You will be working closley to enhance and innovate Sams Club Digital Web and mobile experience. In Bangalore office , you will work with small teams of talented engineers to build robust, distributed, and scalable applications and Co-ordinate effectively with cross geography counter parts. You will be given the freedom to try new things and prove the value of your own ideas and innovations and own them all the way to production. Foster a motivating culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure business needs are being met using software engineering best practices. Participate in internal Hackathons and innovation challenges!

  • Play a critical role in shaping the product & technical vision for the team while working closely with product, business, and engineering leadership across the company on a regular basis.

  • Hire, mentor and lead a world class group of engineers. 

  • Nurture the culture of innovation, experimentation and fail fast.

  • Contribute to design and code reviews

  • Interact ,Co-ordinate and Partner with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise 

  • Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field. 

  • 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in developing Enterprise applications using Java, Spring-boot, REST, Kafka, Databases, Splunk, Caching

  • 6+ years of experience leading end-to-end engineering teams and building scalable native mobile App – iOS , android and Mweb platforms and architectures , 

  • Passion for building data driven culture, growing talent and hunger for making big impact.

  • Strong interest and curiosity in leveraging the latest in tech to solve customer problems

  • Experience in communicating with end users, technical & business teams to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs

  • Ability to seek clarity in ambiguous situations and passionate about stakeholder management.

  • Experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure), CICD, DevOps, Kubernetes, scripting, SQL/NoSQL databases (Cassandra), Agile Methodology

  • Strong understanding of design techniques and software principles.
