Info Sec Senior Analyst - Communications Specialist

The Cyber Security Operations (CSO) Strategy and Execution Communications Specialist is an intermediate level position responsible for leading efforts to shaping and delivering effective internal communications to foster engagement, disseminate key information, and build a cohesive culture within our global CSO team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing communication strategies that resonate with diverse audiences, leveraging various platforms to achieve maximum impact.

Responsibilities:

• Global Team Broadcasts: Design, develop, and deliver impactful global broadcasts for CSO strategy, service and delivery aspects, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Newsletter Management: Lead the creation, editing, and distribution of internal newsletters, curating compelling content that informs, engages, and celebrates team achievements and strategic initiatives.
• SharePoint Creation & Optimization: Drive the creation, maintenance, and optimization of engaging and user-friendly SharePoint sites, serving as central hubs for team information, resources, and collaboration. Ensure content is current, organized, and easily accessible.
• People Engagement Initiatives: Contribute to the communications and engagement aspects, helping to implement innovative people engagement strategies and campaigns that promote a strong sense of community, recognition, and morale within the CSO team. This includes supporting cultural initiatives, internal events, and feedback mechanisms.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality written and visual content for various internal communication channels, including articles, announcements, and presentations, ensuring all materials are on-brand and align with communication guidelines.
• Communications Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the overall internal communications strategy for CSO, identifying key messages, target audiences, and appropriate channels.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with leadership, Business Execution, HR, and other relevant teams to ensure communication efforts are integrated and support broader business goals.
• Measurement & Reporting: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field, preferably within a global organization.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing global team broadcasts and virtual events.
• Proven ability to create, manage, and optimize internal newsletters and other written communication formats.
• Expertise in SharePoint design, content management, and user experience optimization.
• Track record of successfully driving people engagement initiatives.
• Experience within the Cyber Security or broader IT sector is highly desirable.

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Strong editorial and content creation abilities.
• Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Teams, and other internal communication systems).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise communications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global, cross-functional team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
